"Marriott Six Degrees is a lobby-centric social platform based around events. Through Six Degrees, guests can discover how they are connected to one another, and can network or socialize in events planned by Marriott. In this way, the platform is designed to highlight the connections that already exist between guests, while encouraging new connections to form."
The three components of Six Degrees are: the mobile app, the interactive surface and the public display. The three components interact together in one system.
The project went through two major phases, each ending with a working prototype and testing phase at the Cambridge Marriott Lobby space. For further details on my role in the project see case study

EMW is a nonprofit community space that nurtures innovation and collaboration of three entities: ARTS, TECHNOLOGY, and COMMUNNITY.
Branding-- The logo needed to invoke the sense of local close-knit community while still capturing the essence of innovation and artistic expression. Triangles point to the trifecta while holding the resemblance of the common glyph between the letters E, M, and W. The round edges keep the community energy. The intersection shows the collaboration of all parts of the organization.

Social Cycling is the current nameholder for what will soon be an app built to encourage social engagement in biking activity. Working closely with Hubway, Boston’s Bikeshare company, the app is designed to be used in conjunction with their system in functional usage while also promoting a social environment. As the design lead I-- Designed and iterated app flow with paper prototyping, developed “Biker Gang” theme to emanate a social group of bicyclers, created Photoshop mock ups of mobile screens.
